Nov. 28, 2013 A day at Sea

Nov 28, 2013   A day at Sea.

After 11 hours of sleep, we both woke up at 9 am.  Clock forward one more hour.
The Mediterranean Sea water is 18c, while the air is 13c.  Lovely warm breeze.

Stromboli is a small island in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the north coast of Sicily, containing one of the three active volcanoes in Italy. There are two small villages on the island with 350 inhabitants.  The island is little more than just the 900 m high volcano itself and thus has a very small size of only 12.6 square kilometres.

Breakfast outside on deck and enjoying our first day at sea to relax.

Traveling through the Strait of Messina, the town of
Reggio Calabria.  It is located at the tip of Italy's "toe".

Exploring the ship

I was hoping this shower wasn't triggered by motion!

After delicious dining, we hit the shows.
Andy Bunger plays the marimba, panpipes, steel guitar, drums, saxophone or trumpet.
Accompanied by the Jade orchestra.

Pan flute.

Second show we went to was a game show, "The battle of the sexes".
Cute little doggie was on our bed made by our cabin steward.
